Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Lavaboard is an executive analytics workspace: you connect the tools your business already uses, and we assemble them into one dashboard. That only works with your trust, so this policy is written to be read.

What we collect

  • Account details you provide (name, email) and authentication data handled by our identity provider (Supabase Auth, including Google sign-in when you choose it).
  • Business data you explicitly connect — for example analytics events, CRM records, time-tracking, or finance data pulled from integrations such as PostHog, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Ruddr, Instantly, Facebook Ads, and QuickBooks. We only pull data after you connect a source and only to display it back to you.
  • Questions you ask the AI assistant, stored so you can revisit saved chats and so we can improve answer quality.

How we use it

  • To operate your dashboards: synced integration data is cached in your workspace and shown only to your account.
  • To generate AI answers: when you ask a question, the relevant slice of your synced data is sent to the AI model you selected in Settings (Anthropic Claude with your own API key, or the built-in fallback model). It is not used to train models.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except the processors above acting on your instructions.

Credentials & security

  • Integration API keys are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are only decrypted server-side at the moment a sync or test runs.
  • You can disconnect any source at any time from Settings; disconnecting removes the stored credential.
  • All traffic is served over HTTPS.

Retention & deletion

  • Synced data is kept while your account is active so your dashboards stay fast.
  • To delete your account and all associated data, email the workspace owner or contact support; deletion removes your profile, credentials, cached data, and saved chats.
